Dr. Rogers Kinoti

Dr. Rogers Kinoti M’Ariba is an accomplished Economist, Accountant, corporate secretary, investment practitioner, and consultant. He holds a PhD in Finance from JKUAT, a  Master of Arts (Economics), and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) – First Class Honours from the University of Nairobi. Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K)), Certified Public Secretary (CPS (K)), and Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (FA). He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts, and the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK) where he also serves in the Finance and Strategy Committee.

Dr. Kinoti has over 13 years of progressive corporate experience gained from various organizations working in the Accounting, Finance, and Investment fields. He joined RU in 2014 as a lecturer and teaches Economics and Finance courses at Riara School of Business. He also serves as the independent Chairman of the Teachers Service Commission Audit Committee. Previously, he served as General Manager in charge of Finance and Investment at Kenya Reinsurance Corporation, Chief Manager, Finance & Investment at LAPTRUST (Now CPF), and as a portfolio manager in a number of investment management firms including Pinebridge Investments, Sanlam Investments, and ICEALion asset management.
